Community Goals

To help all of our projects to mature to the desired Glacier Stage and be prepared in a constant changing coding environment, we created Community Goals. At the beginning of every year, our Technical Steering Committee gets together with the representatives of our projects in order to discuss a main technical goal to be achieved by each project by the end of every year. We then set up quarterly meetings in order to check in on everybody's progress. In 2025 we agreed on the necessity of a quick-start guide, which was successfully created by each project.

Community Goals were established in the beginning of 2025 and are meant to be understood as a joint goal of the association, that we can all work towards. The projects may also help each other or share solutions if that is possible.

Community Goal 2026

By the end of 2026, all of our ALASCA projects should have an SBOM or a tool to generate their SBOM.
